Terms of service

Effective October 3, 2026. These terms cover your use of Porch's app, App Clip, website, and related services, operated by Celna LLC. By using Porch, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Adults and lawful games

You must be at least 21 to use Porch. You must also meet any higher minimum age and all other requirements that apply to your activity where it takes place. Being 21 or using Porch does not make a game lawful. You are responsible for ensuring that your game, stakes, and payments comply with applicable law. Do not use Porch to organize or carry out unlawful gambling or other illegal activity.

What Porch provides

Porch is a companion for private poker games. It tracks chips, game activity, history, and settlement confirmations. It does not hold funds, accept deposits, process withdrawals, transfer money, or guarantee payments between players. Chip balances and buy-in records are game records, not funds held by Porch.

Check the rules, players, amounts, recipients, and totals independently before playing or making any payment. Players are responsible for their own game decisions and settlements. A payment handoff opens another app or service, whose terms apply; marking a settlement as paid in Porch does not independently verify payment. Porch does not resolve or guarantee debts between players.

Your account and conduct

Keep your sign-in account, device, and invitation codes secure. Use accurate information where needed for the game and do not impersonate others. Do not access another person's account or private table without permission, interfere with the service, bypass membership or access controls, introduce malicious software, harass other users, or share unlawful content or someone else's private information without permission.

You retain rights in content you provide. You grant Porch permission to store, process, and share it only as needed to operate the service and its game and history features, as described in the privacy policy. You must have the right to provide that content. Names, table settings, payment destinations, and game records can be visible to hosts, participants, and people using table invitations as described there.

Report misuse or content concerns to [email protected]. We may restrict content or suspend access for material breaches of these terms, unlawful activity, or threats to users or service security. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the restriction; you can contact support to request a review.

Porch Plus and Apple subscriptions

Downloading Porch and joining games are free. Hosting requires Porch Plus. Before purchase, Apple displays the applicable price, subscription period, and any trial or offer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account's subscription settings; deleting Porch or your Porch account does not cancel it. Apple's purchase, cancellation, and refund rules apply.

Use the app's restore-purchases option if you need to recover an eligible membership, and contact support if hosting access is missing. Purchases in TestFlight use Apple's testing environment and do not establish a paid production subscription. Test builds are provided for testing and may change or become unavailable.

License and third-party services

The app's software license is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms describe use of Porch's related services. Porch's code, design, and branding remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to you.

Apple, sign-in providers, payment apps, and other external services operate under their own terms. Some Porch features require internet access or nearby wireless connectivity and supported devices and permissions. You are responsible for applicable network and data charges.

Availability and limitations

Porch is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free calculations, or permanent availability of every feature or record. Verify important totals and retain your own records. We may update the app and services, change features, or stop supporting older versions. Any new charges will be presented before you purchase.

To the extent permitted by law, Porch is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, and Celna LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud or personal injury, and do not limit your non-waivable consumer rights. The app license's separate provisions also apply to the extent permitted by law.

Leaving Porch

You can stop using Porch at any time. Signed-in account deletion is available in account settings. Local history and information already shared with other players can remain; the privacy policy explains the limits of deletion. Cancel an Apple subscription separately if you no longer want it to renew. We may suspend or end service access for the reasons described above or if the service is discontinued, subject to applicable law.

Changes and questions

We may revise these terms, with the current effective date shown above. We will provide notice or seek agreement when required by applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
